Hey there, Localites! We’re back with another insider tip on where to find the best bites in Charleston. And this time, we’re talking about the most heavenly soft pretzel we’ve ever had. Yes, we’re serious!
A few weeks ago, we made a pilgrimage to Commonhouse Aleworks, and let us tell you, we were not disappointed. We knew we snagged the perfect spot the second we walked in. The atmosphere was buzzing with live music, and the delicious aroma of food filled the air. But, it was the giant soft pretzel that really stole the show.
Soft, doughy, and served with the perfect mustard for dipping, we couldn’t get enough of it. We even contemplated going back every day just for the pretzel (hey, no judgment here!).
But, as we explored more of Commonhouse Aleworks, we discovered that this spot is a gem for so many reasons. First of all – the drinks – chef’s kiss. They have a solid selection of beers, and their wines are pretty freaking good too.
We definitely can’t forget about the other food too. While the pretzel was the star of the show for us, everything we tried was delicious. Plus, with so much space + counter service, it’s the perfect spot for when your invite list goes from 5 to 15.
If you’re looking for something fun to do, Commonhouse Aleworks always has something going on. From trivia nights to live music, there’s always a reason to come back and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
Also – if you’re looking for a spot to get a little work done while sipping on a drink in the evening, head on over. We stumbled upon this place when our wifi was out, and it turned out to be the perfect spot to post up + knock out our to-do list.
